In late October 2025, the Singapore Police Force executed a high-profile enforcement action, seizing over S$150 million in cash, bank accounts, securities and six properties linked to the Cambodia-registered Prince Holding Group and its chairman, Chen Zhi, as part of an ongoing money-laundering and forgery investigation into one of Southeast Asia’s most expansive online scam networks; the seizures followed coordinated sanctions by the United States and United Kingdom in mid-October, which accused Chen Zhi of directing transnational cyber-fraud operations and complex financial flows across multiple jurisdictions, alongside parallel actions in Hong Kong and Europe.

A recent development saw Chen Zhi extradited to China in January 2026 as authorities continue to pursue cross-border enforcement tied to the Prince Group network.

Based on Handshakes’ mapping tool, it was observed that several companies directly linked to Chen Zhi are unsanctioned to date. The map also indicates that a number of Chen Zhi’s associates in Cambodia — connected to Prince Group and related businesses — maintain corporate footprints in Singapore and Malaysia, including individuals not previously named in media reporting. In Singapore, these connections extend separation and include potential links into listed-company environments, illustrating how networked exposure can persist beyond what headline enforcement actions alone make visible. You can download the full map by signing up today.
