Data Sales Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Data Sales Specialist to lead the growth of our data solutions business. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in corporate data, capable of driving go-to-market (GTM) execution from scratch and building deep client relationships across ASEAN.
Key Responsibilities
- Define Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
Work with your manager to shape and refine your GTM strategy for Handshakes’ data solutions across target industries and customer segments. - Territory Planning & Sales Execution
Identify and plan your sales territory in collaboration with the lead generation team to ensure focused sales execution. - Pipeline Development & Deal Closure
Aggressively build your sales pipeline and take full ownership of nurturing opportunities from prospecting to closing. - Own Revenue KPIs
Take responsibility for meeting and exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with the marketing and data analytics teams to refine offerings and GTM strategy based on real-time market feedback. - Strategic Account Management
Build and expand long-term relationships with key strategic accounts to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.
To qualify for this role, you would have:
- 6-8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in data solution, information services.
- Strong network within one (or more) of the mentioned industries: business information, Financial Servies (Banking & Investment), RegTech (KYB/KYC, Risk Management), Business Intelligence & Credit reporting, Big 4 or more.
- Proven success in new business development, pipeline building, and closing enterprise deals.
- A self-starter with independent thinking and creative problem-solving skills – someone who thrives in building from scratch.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with regulated industries (e.g., financial services, legal, capital markets, compliance) is a plus.

Research Specialist / Senior Research Specialist

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Research Specialist/Senior Research Specialist to design and implement AI-powered solutions that enhance our products. This role requires someone who is hands-on with LLMs, Agentic AI, and deep learning, while also capable of breaking down research ideas into executable tasks and guiding junior team members.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, able to work independently, and comfortable learning new tools quickly—especially in the fast-evolving Agentic AI space.
As a Research Specialist/Senior Research Specialist, the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Applied Research: Explore and apply state-of-the-art methods in LLMs, deep learning, and NLP to Handshakes’ structured and unstructured datasets.
- Agentic AI Workflows: Develop, experiment with, and deploy agent-based AI workflows for automating reasoning, classification, and decision support.
- Generative AI Applications: Design conversational workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and text classification systems that enhance user interaction with Handshakes data.
- Rapid Prototyping: Translate research concepts into working prototypes and iterate quickly to validate feasibility and business value.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into production systems.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and interns, fostering a learning-oriented environment.
- Task Ownership: Independently manage research tasks, break down complex problems into subtasks, and ensure timely delivery.
To qualify for this role, you would have:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in applied AI/ML research or development.
- Strong experience with LLMs and NLP tasks (e.g., text classification, summarization, retrieval, conversational AI).
- Practical knowledge of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and ML pipelines.
- Experience in building agentic AI workflows or willingness to learn and adopt such tools quickly.
- Strong coding skills in Python with experience in applied AI/ML engineering.

This Product Manager role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of regulatory use cases, data feeds, and AI solutions—and is ready to drive the next generation of Handshakes’ Data & AI offerings.
As a Product Manager, the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for Data & AI products, including solutions in KYB/KYC, due diligence, and corporate compliance.
- Work with cross-functional teams—engineering, design, sales, and marketing—to drive product development from concept to launch.
- Gather and prioritize customer and market requirements, translating them into actionable product features.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in RegTech and data services.
- Champion the voice of the customer and ensure product-market fit through continuous iteration and feedback.
To qualify for this role, you would have:
- 3–5 years of product management experience, ideally in RegTech, compliance, or corporate data environments.
- Familiarity with corporate data, data feeds, APIs, and corporate intelligence use cases such as due diligence and risk screening.
- Experience working with data-centric products or AI-powered solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around a common product vision.
- Analytical thinking with a user-first mindset and an eagerness to solve complex business problems through product innovation.

We seek a dynamic and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative team in Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Data Engineer will design, develop and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines to support business needs.
Key responsibilities of a Senior Data Engineer include:
- Building, deploying and managing data solutions that are scalable and efficient for a growing data driven company

As an experienced Senior Data Engineer, you would have:
